Disney just announced ticket on-sale dates for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will be held on Aug 9-11, 2024, at the Anaheim Convention Center next to the Disneyland Resort.
This is three full days of “inside-the-magic” experiences you won’t find anywhere else, including exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming films from The Walt Disney Studios, dazzling celebrity appearances, unforgettable presentations given by Disney luminaries, a look at what’s coming from Disney Parks and Resorts and Walt Disney Imagineering, the Disney Legends ceremony, and the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibition, which spotlights crown jewels from Disney’s timeless legacy.
Fun Pass tickets to the event include such experiences as Live Panels, Presentations, Shopping and special Immersive Experiences.
- Fan favorites will return, including pavilions from Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disney+, Marvel Studios, Disney Experiences, and Lucasfilm.
- Special merchandise shopping will be available from Mickey’s of Glendale, The Hollywood Studio Store, and The Emporium. Plus, The Walt Disney Company Store will make its debut and feature exclusive D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event branded products.
- Walt Disney Archives will have a first-of-its-kind exhibition, “A Great Big Beautiful Car Show.”
More details about additional experiences, meet-and-greets, panels, presentations, specially curated shows, and conversations with storytellers, creators, and talent will become available closer to the event.
NEW this year, Ultimate Fan tickets will include the marquee showcase presentations. Previously these were included in the standard ticket at the main convention center, but will now be moving over to the Honda Center.
- Disney Entertainment Showcase features exclusive looks at the movies, series, and stage shows fans love and a glimpse of what’s next.
- Disney Experiences Showcase, featuring the latest on new and highly anticipated projects in development around the world for Disney parks, experiences, and beyond.
- Disney Legends, where names you know that have made significant contributions to Disney, will be honored. Including names you know, such as James Cameron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Harrison Ford, Frank Oz, and Joe Rohde
