Summer Fun is about to Awaken at Walt Disney World!!

There was a flurry of cool summer news today from Walt Disney World! This summer is shaping up to be the best summer ever with loads of new experiences. Get out your calendars and get ready for all the fun!
May 27 – Animal Kingdom will come alive at night for the first time! Each night, the Tree of Life will magically awaken in a show that is sure to delight. You can also experience what the wildlife on Kilimanjaro Safari are up to after dark, and get in on the fun with the Harambe Wildlife Parti! Tiffin’s will opens it’s doors and invite guests in to feast on signature dishes inspired by African, Asian, and South American cuisine. Nomad Lounge will offer signature beverages and small bites with waterfront views. Fastpass selections for the Safari will be available starting May 21. Dining reservations at Tiffin’s will open for booking on May 21.
May 28 – The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic premiers at the Animal Kingdom, as a limited-engagement show experience on Discovery River. Fastpasses and dining packages with reserved seating (similar to Fantasmic! dining packages) at Tiffin’s as well as Tusker House will be available for this experience starting May 21.
May 28 to June 15 – Soarin’ fans will be able to head to Epcot and have one last opportunity to experience this attraction as it explores California, before it switches to the new movie, Soarin’ Over the World, in July. Fastpass selections for this will be available starting May 21.
June 17 – Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire will debut on the stage at Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom, and will have shows daily!
June 17 – The newest addition of the Star Wars experiences at Hollywood Studios opens with a bang – Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular debuts as one of the “most elaborate” night shows with fireworks, lasers, video projections and of course your favorite Star Wars music!
June 21 – Yoo Hoo! Big summer blowout happening in the Norway pavilion at Epcot as Frozen Ever After opens to take guests on a journey of a “Summer Snow Day” courtesy of Elsa, and guests can meet the sisters at the Royal Sommerhus. Fastpass selection for Frozen Ever After begins May 21.
Best summer ever perhaps? Yeah, we sure think so!
