The Disney Destiny – What Not to Miss!

Disney’s newest ship, Disney Destiny, does not disappoint. The ship’s heroes-and-villains theme brings characters from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel to life through immersive storytelling, stunning venues, and experiences that explore good vs. evil in the most Disney way possible. It’s amazing – and there is so much to see and do.

Disney’s Hercules at the Walt Disney Theater is electric. The talent, the energy, the music — it’s outstanding and exclusive to the Disney Destiny. Do not miss it.

Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King is a delicious dinner show that instantly transports you back to the movie that made us all fall in love with Simba. I loved how the show flows naturally around dinner, leaving plenty of time to enjoy tablemates and the storytelling. Favorites? The Peri-Peri Shrimp, Roasted Prime Rib of Beef (that loaded baked potato), and the Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding.

Zayah and Gamble, the ship’s dynamic storytelling duo, guide guests through the hero-and-villain narrative in the Grand Hall and in Saga, a stunning two-story lounge inspired by Black Panther. Prepare to laugh. A lot.

De Vil’s Piano Lounge is pure fun – the dalmatian piano, red seating, and specialty cocktails are fabulous. If you want some Cruella interaction, don’t miss Treble Making with Cruella, where guests help her rewrite her theme song. It’s incredibly popular, so arrive very early.

The Sanctum, inspired by Doctor Strange, is one of my favorite lounges. Live music, trivia, gorgeous décor, and a bar menu that’s truly out of this world. Try the waffles (yes, waffles) and don’t miss the levitating glass.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is delightfully spooky with hitchhiking ghosts, interactive portraits, themed drinks, and a fish tank full of skeletons. Family-friendly by day, adults-only at night. Welcome, foolish mortals indeed!

Cask & Cannon is a pirate-themed sports bar packed with details – including a treasure map on the ceiling. The specialty drinks (Shiver Me Timbers, Dead Man’s Chest, Kraken) are a blast. Captain Jack Sparrow would approve.

If you spot Dr. Facilier’s Parlor in your Navigator App, go! Small groups are invited in for a top-secret, interactive experience with the witch doctor himself. Ten minutes, totally worth the wait – and don’t share the details.

Under Her Spell: A Maleficent Encounter is immersive and ends with a chance to meet Maleficent and take photos. Seating is limited in Saga, so arrive early — it’s first-come, first-seated.

And of course, caffeine is covered. Café Megara and Café Merida, near the Grand Hall, serve specialty coffees and teas in the cutest settings.

My biggest recommendation? Take your time and explore. Disney Destiny is packed with thoughtful details and unforgettable experiences — and you won’t be disappointed.
