Things are always changing and evolving at Disney, and the latest changes come today to park tickets. Here is a rundown of what’s different:
*Ticket Expiration: All tickets will still expire 14 days from the day that they are first used. Now, unused tickets will expire as well, at a select future date. Currently, the expiration date for any newly purchased park tickets is December 31, 2018. If you have a ticket that has never been used and has expired, you will be able to “exchange” that ticket for a current one, using the value of the expired ticket as credit towards your new ticket.
*Water Park add-on option: You will no longer be able to add the “Water Park Fun and More” option on to your Magic Your Way base ticket, as it is being discontinued. In order to have this option, you will need to add the “Park Hopper Plus” to your Magic Your Way base ticket. The Park Hopper Plus will allow you to visit multiple theme parks in one day, as well as visits to the water parks, mini-golf courses, ESPN Wide World of Sports or the Oak Trail Golf Course. The number of visits to these spots will be determined on the number of days of your park ticket.
*Purchasing Park Tickets at the Gate: Any 3-day or longer Magic Your Way tickets purchased at Guest Relations or a theme park ticket window will cost you more. If you purchase these tickets in advance, you will save $20 per ticket.
