If you’ve never cruised before, you’re going to have a million questions. We’re not guessing when we answer you. We’ve been on cruises and we can tell you all about them. We see the value in actually experiencing a destination, and we make it a priority. We have the knowledge to back up our recommendations.
2. We’re Up to Date – Not only do our travels keep us up to date, we are constantly training and researching. We attend classes put on by vacation suppliers both in person and online. They let us know what’s new and what’s to come. When we visit destinations for training, we spend hours touring rooms and asking questions. We never stop learning and getting new tips and tricks for our clients.
3. We Know People – We have built up relationships with vacation suppliers. We know where to go and who to talk to when we need to get things done. If you’re standing at a resort in the Bahamas and they’re telling you they have no record of your reservation, we are who you call. We can get to the bottom of it and get it fixed.
4. We Personalize Service – You aren’t just a name and credit card to us. We get to know you and ask you questions and help you make the best decision for you. If you want to go to Walt Disney World and aren’t sure if you should stay in a moderate or deluxe resort, we’ve stayed in all of them and can make the best recommendation for you. 5. We Save You Time – We give you the gift of time. No need to spend hours researching (unless you want to of course, it can be fun!), we’ve done it for you. Don’t worry about spending hours on hold with Disney when a special comes out. We do it for you! And dining reservations at Disney? You don’t need to get up at 6 am to do it. That’s what we’re here for!
6. We’re In the Know – When specials and new itineraries come out, we’re some of the first people to know. Sometimes vacation suppliers will give us a heads up, sometimes we’re just prepared. We spend our time watching for them and getting ready. When they come out, we let you know and if they apply to you, we get them for you. That’s right, we proactively get you discounts you qualify for.
7. We Are Available – We give you our email and phone number. When you need us, you can reach us. Don’t try that with a mass travel booking website.
8. We May Save You Money – We have access to some deals that you can’t get when you’re booking direct. If you’re cruising, we often have onboard credits to help you out with a little spending money onboard. We sometimes have group rates for travel, and special offers that some suppliers only offer to travel agents. When there are multiple specials out for a destination, we’ll check them all to see what’s best for you!
9. We Don’t Take Your Control – Many people like to control their own vacations and are worried that booking with a travel agent will take that away. We do make your payments for you, but the vast majority of things you can still do yourself if you like. You can book your dining, you can book your cruise excursions, and you can do all your own planning! If you like. But if you don’t like, then leave it to us!
10. We Are Free to You – Storybook Destinations doesn’t charge you extra for our services. It’s the exact same price to book through us or book direct. When you book through us, the vacation supplier pays us out of their profits. They recognize the value we bring, and they are willing to do that.
